Electro-mec wins electropac contract

Avid Holdings PLC are delighted to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary, Electro-mec (Reading) Ltd, has won a contract for 12 electropac(tm) feeder units from a third party machine manufacturer for installation into a UK pharmacy retailer. The order value is likely to be in excess of £190,000.

Avid raised £194,000 (net of expenses) in December 2007 to fund the research and development of the electropac(tm) project and is on target for a full rollout of the units later this year.
